Pregnancy related
My wife never gets delayed periods but this time she missed her periods. We had a beta hcg test but it is negative. Her LMP was 21st September and she has still not bleed yet. Can she still be pregnant or if not what can be possible reason for missed pregnancy? She always gets her periods on time and she has never conceived once after marriage in 2019.

Beta HCG is negative so she is not pregnant for sure. Delayed periods is due to hormonal imbalance , sudden weight gain or stress Just wait for her periods to come naturally and if it happens again get her self evaluated.

can be caused by pregnancy, stress, significant weight changes, and intense exercise. Other common causes include hormonal imbalances like those from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) or thyroid conditions, certain medications

There can be multiple reasons for a delayed or missed period . Pregnancy is one of them . If beta hcg is negative then pregnancy is ruled out . But seeing the history I feel you can consult for fertility guidance for checking the other factors for not conception so far

If beta hcg is negative, then mostly theres no pregnancy, you have to wait and see when will she get her period or get few tests done to see what exactly happened, since its the first time you can wait and see
