Pregnancy query
I have been taking glycomet SR and apcod powder from past 2 months as I was pre-diabetic and had period irregular with mild PCOD few months back. From past 2 months everything is fine and I tested ovulation and it was positive. I did intercourse on that day and the next few days. Now i have missed my period and its been 4 days since then. The urine test is negative. Does glycomet SR or apcod powder affect HCG formation and results in making it detectable in urine test late? Does urine test requires to be taken after 3-4 days?

No these medicines won’t effect your hcg. Just repeat the test after 5 days. Or you can do beta hcg blood test to confirm pregnancy.

As such glycomet and apcod powder does not affect HCG. You should repeat test after 7 days .it is common to have delayed period and irregular cycles in pcos.
