Pregnancy at age 41
This is for my cousin, she is 41 and one month ago went for open myomectomy. How much time she should avoid to get pregnant? Can she try two months after surgery? As it is already late at this age.

It depends on various factors , one important factor being whether during the myomectomy the uterine cavity was opened or not. Another factor is the size of the fibroid. A safe advice is to wait for at least one year after the myomectomy.

Minimum gap should be atleast 6months if she undergone surgery for submucosal or intramural fibroid. These fibroids destroy the endometrial cavity and impair with implantation and pregnancy.
Next Steps
check her AMH level. This test indicates ovarian reserve.
