Pregnancy and Depression
I am married for 3 months and pregnant for 2 months. While I noticed that I missed my period, I got anxious about period and due to some other problem I developed symptoms of depression like sleeping problem, overthinking, negative thoughts frequently, did not want to talk to any one, weakness, loss of appetite. I am already taking medicines for pregnancy and while shared my problem with gyne Dr.; She just denied any case of depression and said that it will continue till 4 months. Pls suggest if I should visit psychiatrist or should I believe the gyne Dr.???
