Your HbA1c values in the range of 6.1–6.4% suggest prediabetes. While it's less common, nerve-related symptoms like pain, burning, or tingling can still occur in prediabetes—a condition called "pre-diabetic neuropathy." However, the pattern of your leg pain from knee to ankle without swelling needs a broader evaluation. Possible causes include: Early diabetic or pre-diabetic neuropathy Sciatica or lumbar nerve compression (especially if pain radiates down) Vitamin B12 deficiency Electrolyte imbalance (e.g., low Vitamin D, calcium, magnesium) Musculoskeletal issues (e.g., shin splints, referred pain from joints Recommended tests: Nerve conduction study (if neuropathy suspected) Vitamin B12 and D3 levels Serum creatinine, electrolytes Lumbar spine screening if sciatica is suspected What you can do now: Avoid sitting long hours; stretch often Try warm compresses or over-the-counter pain relief if advised Ensure B12 and D3 supplementation if low Follow a low-carb, anti-inflammatory diet Please consult a physician in person for a physical exam and appropriate tests. Early intervention can help avoid progression.

Yes. Can be the cause. Target HBA1c make it 5.7. Leg pain could be because of calcium and vit d deficiency also.
