FBS 93 & HB1AC 6.1
This is for my dad (63 years). He is physically very active, but eats a lot of sweets. The latest lab report has FBS 93 and Hb1AC 6.1. I know per definition this is a pre-diabetic value. But is this hb1ac value ok per his age? Or he still needs to work on it to make it below 5.7? Thanks in advance.

He is prediabetic. And for his age the target HbA1C is less than 7. So if he is not on any medicines he can continue with diet and lifestyle for now.
