Precaution to save baby from fever

Asked for Male, 30 Years

Hi doctors. My question is for my 15 month baby. He falls sick and cold cough occur together .frequently every month.. So I am worried about it. Bcz whether is changing and I am afraid he will be fall ill and cold and cough in this weather. What can I do for him in advance . Any medicine to use before. Please help

Babies are more prone to infections as their immune system is not adequately developed to fight virus and bacteria. In order to avoid catching infection, develop good hygiene habits like frequent hand washing, frequent disinfection of toys, washing hands before taking food, regular brushing of teeth. Give your child proper diet. As far as baby is healthy and weighs adequately, there is no need of any medicine.
