My son was recently diagnosed with pre vitiligo..he has a peri patch near his right eye. The doctor has assured it's a two year treatment and he will be cured as the success rate in children is high. All his tests reports were normal. He has prescribed lanzol junior tablet and purol-h syrup for alternate days for two months and emolene cream for face.Im worried as Im noticing that the area under his left eye also is getting lighter...I'm anxious as I have heard there is no cure for this and will he get cured

Have patience. Vitiligo is an unpredictable condition. Children do get very good response. Patches are usually bilaterally symmetrical in vitiligo, means if one elbow is affected other may also be affected. So same goes with one side of face. We have a lot of treatment strategies bit we cannot predict a recurrence. You can contact me through online consult option for proper examination and treatment advice if you need second opinion.
