Pottasium permanganate powder for pilied
My doctor told me to use Pottasium permanganate powder on hot water and sit on it for few minutes for my piles problem. But I am not able to find this powder in  Pharmacy. I find a 10 gm packet from agarwall brand which is written "not for medicine use". I can't use it. Can you please suggest which pottasium permangate powder I can use that is for medicine use ?

Please ask your Doctor who prescribed KMnO4 sitz bath. It is an old medicine which is rarely used these days.

You can use just hot water or water with pinch of salt or povidone solution. Avoid constipation by diet, medicines and regular exercise.  That will help in checking progress of piles.

Do not use “not for medicinal use” powder. Use medical-grade potassium permanganate (KMnO₄) only—very dilute (light pink). If not available, do warm water sitz bath alone. Consult a doctor if needed.
