Potassium is at borderline.
My father aged 60 years, CABG surgery, CKD, Diabetes under insulin.What to be done as the potassium level are in the borderline? Creatinine at 2.83 last time it was at 2.5. Due to potassium increase, his heart fluctuate during the anaesthesia coming out of senses. Pls do suggest.

Hi potassium increases once creatinine starts increasing. However it's still normal currently. You need a review of medicines which he is taking. Also ask him to follow a low potassium diet and avoid coconut water and fruit juice.
