Hello! Thank you for reaching out.
Firstly, congratulations on your new baby! We hope for them a healthy and beautiful life.
We hear you. Feeling emotionally weak and not being able to sleep is something that can be very distressing and can conflict with your emotional states- especially when childbirth is seem to be a joyous occasion.
It is perfectly okay to be in the state that you have mentioned. While you did not go through this with your first child, every experience is a different one. We hear you and by the looks of it, it does seem that you might be dealing with something known as postpartum emotions. It is a very common occurrence in women after giving birth (hence post-partum). Some of what you might be facing could be insomnia (difficulty in sleeping at night), appetite changes, severe fatigue, difficulty in bonding with the baby, loss of pleasure, hopelessness, anger or crankiness among several others. This has multiple causes, due to the severity of what your body has undergone through childbirth. We wish to reassure you that this is perfectly okay to occur and you can seek out professional help from mental health practitioners from organisations or independent set ups for the same. Counselling and talking through these emotions with someone who professionally is adept to help you, will be able to make you at ease with yourself and your child.

Hi, after delivery you have been feeling upset and emotionally low. You are also not able to eat and sleep well. To feel better you can consult a psychologist and counselling sessions will help you. The symptoms that you have mentioned could indicate postpartum depression. Do not worry with Counseling sessions you will feel better.
Your hormones are out of whack after you have a baby, causing you to feel a range of emotions. It is important to talk to your doctor about the things you're feeling and the challenges you're facing to see if you need medication or pharmacological treatment.
You may also need help from a Psychologist to adjust to this major change in your life.

Hello,
It is too early to judge yourself as it's been just one week since you delivered your baby. Don't compare your child handling skills of the previous delivery as it would have been a little difficult to bear the pregnancy in the covid situation. Just give yourself a little bit of time so that all your parameters are within the range there will be an overall change. If you feel like calling your doctor there is no harm but stay positive.
Please talk to one of us..
It looks like that you are going through the stress post delivery..
I do agree that you have experience as another.
Now it is about the dual responsibility..
