Post surgery travel
Hello doctor, On 23rd july i had faced an accident in which i lost my spleen. The splenectomy was done on 24th july. It has been almost 2 months. I just want to ask can i travel long distance now ? I am planning to go out of station on 2nd October. Please help me out here.

Hi! As long as you’ve taken the Vaccinations that are required for a splenectomy and recovered completely mentally and physically, it is safe to travel. However, take precautions to maintain surrounding and personal hygiene and a healthy nutritious diet.
