Post-Surgery Leg Pain Concern
Following L4 and L5 stabilization and decompression surgery, my mother began experiencing pain in her left leg. Before the surgery, she only had pain in her right leg, and the left leg was completely fine. Now, the right leg has improved, but the left leg has started hurting. Could you please explain the possible reason for this?

This could be due to post surgical edema or later development of adhesions. How old is the surgery and has she been given any nerve pain medications?
Next Steps
