I had severe anal pain past 1 month and they diagnosed as perianal abscess through CT scan and had a surgery to incision and drainage the abscess.. it’s been 10 days and Iam feeling better slowly . Surgery wound kept open and I had some discharge occasionally. But pain is reduced a lot .
Suddenly after 10 days of betterment , I had a pain and swelling near the surgery wound . Then after some hours there is white pus discharge from the wound site .. is this normal ? Or is it cause of something else to be worried .

It is not normal to ger pus discharge after 10 days.. immedietly visit the operating surgeon again and review... have you been doing sitz bath and regularly dressing during this time?
It's normal to have serous discharge. The wound will heal in time. But you should keep a check for any fecal discharge from worlund site or foul smelling discharge. It's better to get it examined when you visit your surgeon
