Post operative stroke treatment
I had a stroke from a blood clot the day after ureter cancer surgery, but then had an allergic reaction to Aggrenox - itchy rash. Is aspirin good enough to prevent future strokes if I don't have HPB or high cholesterol and I'm not overweight? I'm 57, female and have Lynch Syndrome. The cancer was stage 1 and contained. I'd been taking aspirin before surgery for Lynch, but stopped a week prior. The surgeon said he removed lots of clots during surgery.
