Post fever recovery
Hi, I had high fever last week which lasted for 3 days. The covid test was negative and I've already had covid 5 months ago. There were no other symptoms. I'm 28 years old and exercise regularly. My heart rate used to be between 58-65 bpm at rest, however during fever my resting heart rate was around 110 bpm and after recovering from fever my heart rate is still 80-90 bpm. It also rises very quickly as soon as I stand. Is this normal?

Such a response is common in post fever phase, at this stage you don't need any more investigations. We can look forward to complete recovery within a week, however if your palpitations still persist then you can get an ecg done later and consult me.
