My wife has delivered a baby 2 weeks ago normal delivery. She is not feeling well mentally. She is crying and feels depressed. She is scared and lost her confidence. She is unable to explain what's bothering her. She also can't sleep continuously for 6hrs.
What should I do? Whom should i visit? A gynaecologist or a psychiatrist.
P.S - she is having healthy food and baby is also in good health. Parents and in laws are there to take care constantly, still she feels unwell.

Dear Sir
I am sorry she is going through so much.
Her symptoms may be suggestive of post partum depression. It is a common condition and can occur in women after delivery. It can be effectively treated with medications and psychological therapy. Please see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and further management. You can help her by giving her practical support, reassuring her and encouraging her to seek professional help.
Thanks
