Post covid
My husband covid +ve at May 4...He was very normal at that time he got 1 day fever and 1 week body tiredness only. After 20 days, he is doing normal activities, doing exercises and night shift in work from home..he started suffering cough, cold, mild fever, tiredness so we checked with doctor who advised to take RT-PCR and CRP test...now we take the test..covid is -ve but CRP count is 41.6..so doctor gives some antibiotics tablets and put injection. now he is ok when with complete rest. Doctor no need to take X-ray or CT-scan. Most recommended take X-ray or CT-scan.. Please advise..

What is the source of infection, crp.high indicate infection  , so do the x ray chest or hrct chest.  If completed antibiotic course, and he is fine without any symptoms .then nothing to worry.

Now no need of ct scan . If symptoms like cough , fever , body ache  are more . Then you can consider ct scan. Better to isolate the patient.

Patient is having symptoms and crp is raised , if symptoms still persists more than 5 days , it’s better to get hrct . Rt pcr negative doesn’t rule out covid infection
