Hi, Feeling unable to control urges is not a moral failing; it reflects a compulsive pattern in the brain’s reward system, which can be addressed with therapy and structured support. Excessive porn use and masturbation can lead to sexual performance concerns (like premature ejaculation), social or occupational interference, emotional distress, and anxiety about future relationships or marriage.
Next Steps
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, sexual counseling and certain medications can help reduce compulsive sexual urges under psychiatric supervision. reduce exposure to triggers, can use screen time limit and internet filters
Health Tips
Early intervention is important to prevent worsening of compulsive patterns, sexual dysfunction, or relational distress. You are not alone, and this problem is treatable. With structured therapy, behavioral strategies, and professional guidance, it is possible to gain control over urges, improve sexual function, and protect future relationships.

Hi You’ve been struggling with porn addiction for many years, and the fact that you’re reaching out shows you do want to change. It’s true that easy internet access makes the cycle harder to break, but addiction is not about willpower alone it’s about retraining the brain. Right now, porn has become a conditioned habit for you, tied to urges, stress, or boredom. That’s why even when you decide to stop, the cravings feel overwhelming. The good news is that recovery is possible. Therapy helps by giving you structured ways to manage urges, rewire your triggers, and reduce compulsive patterns like porn + masturbation loops. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Habit Reversal techniques work well for this. Also, premature ejaculation can improve once you reduce the cycle of overstimulation through porn. You don’t have to fight this alone getting help is not weakness, it’s the fastest way forward. Take therapy. You can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.
