Polio affected for both legs..
Hi, My brother having polio for both the legs, he not able to walk without support. We went few surgeries at the age of 10. But still he is not able to walk alone.. He is very healthy and his legs also looks like normal person, but he can't touch his full foot to ground.. Is there any operation will solve this problem? .. Please help us..

Pl consult a physiotherapist for any shorting or contracture & deformity. For muscles do exercises. If shortening go for shoe raise .Use some kind of support for upper & lower limbs in consultation with physiotherapist. There are limb lengthening surgery available but Ortho will decide it
