Since I was around 11 I have had problems with my left salivary gland. I have slight crackling and sensitivity in my left gland. If I puff my cheek out I am able to expand this area of pain and the crackling becomes more apparent. This can leave a continuous numbness/fever/pain for hours, sometimes days depending on chewing/pressure. I understand I am making it worse by blowing air into my gland, but I was wondering if there's a way this can be fixed (the gland to be closed)?
