What you experienced shows that your Agni (digestive fire) improved well with moong dal + Chitrakadi Vati + Dadimashtak Churna, which is why bloating and heaviness settled; however, the loose motions and dryness/redness indicate that Pitta and Vata are still slightly aggravatedâthe medicine helped digestion but may have become a bit too drying and heating for your current state. At this stage, we need to stabilize the gut (grahi) and soothe Pitta, rather than further stimulating digestion.
Next Steps
Now, shift to a slightly nourishing but still light diet instead of only moong dalâinclude soft rice + moong khichdi with a little ghee, or dahi rice to help bind stools. You can reduce or temporarily stop Chitrakadi Vati and continue Dadimashtak in a smaller dose, or add gentle stool binders support like bilva or kutaj-based preparations. Ensure good hydration (not excessive plain waterâprefer warm water or ORS-like fluids) to avoid lightheadedness and dryness. If loose motions persist beyond 2â3 days or increase, consult a doctor for evaluation. Health Tips
To balance both gut and skin, focus on Pitta calming + mild Vata supportâadd a little ghee in meals, avoid very spicy, sour, fried, or overly dry foods, and include coconut water or fennel water for soothing effect. For skin redness (rosacea-like), keep diet cooling (avoid excess मसालà¥, tea/coffee), ensure proper hydration, and you can apply gentle aloe vera gel externally. Most importantly, donât stay on an overly restrictive dietâyour body is signaling the need for balanced nourishment, not just lightness. Thank You
âYour digestion has improved, but loose stools and dryness indicate residual Vata-Pitta imbalance. Avoid overuse of light/drying diet like only moong dal, as it can cause weakness and dryness. Focus on mildly nourishing, easy-to-digest food with slight unctuousness to balance both doshas. Medicines also need adjustment based on your response. Please consult me so I can guide you with the right diet and treatment.â
