My mother has been suffering with Arthirits for 6 years. Diabetic also from past 2 years. 2 months back  she recovered from covid 19. Recently on 16/June/21 she slip on floor left leg hip ball fracture today we are planning to make surgery( hip ball replacement).  her d- dimer levels present 260 ng/ml. Sugar levels are 260 from past 4 months. Is there any risk. Please doctors could you suggest anything. She suffering with pain from last 16 days at fracture area.

Hip fracture is almost a emergency, especially if it a fracture neck of femur. Risks are standard as for any surgery. Hip fractures have high mortality and morbidities if not treated in time and correctly.
