A ortho doctor in vicinity has advised 21 day bed rest, but he has already planned to travel after a week which is nearly inevitable. Better not travel now as the swelling may increase, leading to increased pain or Better to use few medications which will prevent further increase of swelling and travel by keeping leg above the level of heart while travelling like sleeping with pillow below feet etc.
