My husband had high fever and was diagnosed with Dengue. His platelet count was 88000. After following a proper diet his platelet count increased slowly to 96000 and then to 120000 however the platelet count has been going down since past 2 days from 111000 to 91000. No fever but a lot of fatigue. Is this pattern normal in Dengue?

In adults with dengue, platelet counts drop slightly to moderate from day 3 to day 7 of illness and return to normal by day 8 or 9.But it could be few more weeks as well.
Keep checking the CBC
Consuming papaya and papaya leaf, wheatgrass, pomegranate, fish oil, pumpkin, raisins, beetroot and carrot, fresh milk, and leafy greens may help stabilize platelet count
