Plaster vs surgery
My 7 years old son got his hand fractured on Thursday, the dr had put plaster without giving anesthesia. On Monday we went for another x ray and the dr told that he will have  to again realign the bone in OT as it is still tilted. He gave us 2 options: 1- realignment of bone under anesthesia ( he says there are still chances of bone displacement) 2- A surgery in which he will put 1 or 2 nails in the bone. Pls guide doctors what should be done. Attaching both pre plaster and post plaster x rays.

There seems to be rotation... In the first xray you shared. Not a acceptable reduction acc to me.
Next Steps
Give plaster a go for the first time. Consultant online to discuss more.
Health Tips
Bones in children heal magically, but rotational element is one that cannot be corrected.
