Since Feb 2025, a small wound like thing appeared on my right toe. When consulted dermat she said it was plantar wart and prescribed imiquad but I barely used once. 2 months back I noticed wart started developing on left index finger and I'm worried if it can spread more. When asked dermat she said don't worry, we can give MMR vaccine in shots to cure this.
I'm unmarried and planning to go for HPV gardisal 9 vaccine for quite some months. So I'm confused if HPV vaccine can cure this plantar warts or should I take both vaccines?
Is it correct to take both vaccines at this stage and is there anything which I should consider before deciding.
Or any other treatment which is effective and helps to get rid of this.
Thanks in advance

Hi. Palmar and plantar warts can spread easily by contact because they are in high trauma prone areas. HPV vaccine may help with your warts but they are not used as standard first line management. It’s better to go for topicals or get it removed with cryotherapy/cautery or MMR as suggested by your dermatologist. MMR will be given locally to the area of wart only unlike hpv.
No need to worry.specific treatment is available.it depends on severity of the disease . Complete medical history is required..
Pls do online consultation with Dermatologist for detailed prescription & guidance.
