Pimple,oily and little dull skin
This happened when I accidentally applied expired face wash and I was wondering if I should ask a dermatologist if I could use Garnier men's products like acno fight face wash and moisturizer and turbo bright moisturizer to cure all these problems or should I use Betnovate N. Simply but regularly.

Young man... Do not touch Betnovate N or creams like this even by chance. Strong steroids like this will damage your skin and agents like (N=Neomycin) are potent sensitizers and cause contact dermatitis frequently. Also avoid OTC products, home remedies & self medications along with Dr Google's suggestions 🙏 While Garnier products per se are not bad or an issue, it is always safer to consult a Qualified Dermatologist even if ONLINE instead of trying stuff. Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

This looks like a mild irritant reaction from using expired face wash. It is not serious and should settle with gentle care. Avoid using Betnovate-N, as it is a steroid combination and not recommended for simple irritation, especially on the face. Next Steps: • Stop all active/harsh products for now • Use a gentle face wash (like Cetaphil or any mild cleanser) • Apply a simple moisturizer 2–3 times daily •Apply sun protection (spf50+) daily.. repeat every 3-4 hours Helpful Tips / Word of Caution: • Do not use steroid creams like Betnovate-N without doctor advice • Avoid scrubbing, acne face washes, or strong products till skin heals • Always check expiry before using skincare • Keep routine simple — overuse of products can worsen irritation You can consult with me online via Practo for detailed evaluation and treatment
