Your TSH of 7.1 indicates hypothyroidism, and Eltroxin 125 mcg may be appropriate—but dosage should always be adjusted based on repeat thyroid tests and symptoms. Motion sickness and imbalance could be unrelated or due to dosage sensitivity, inner ear issues, or neurological causes. Please consult your physician for re-evaluation and possibly repeat thyroid profile and ENT check-up.

Hello! Your current TSH level of 7.1 still indicates hypothyroidism, despite being on Eltroxin 125 mcg daily for 4 months. The dosage may need to be adjusted depending on your free T3 and free T4 levels, which should ideally be tested alongside TSH. Sometimes, symptoms like imbalance, motion sickness, dizziness, or a feeling of body unsteadiness can be due to thyroid hormone fluctuations, inner ear issues (like vestibular imbalance), or even B12/Vitamin D deficiency — all of which are common in hypothyroid patients. I recommend consulting your physician or endocrinologist to re-evaluate your thyroid profile and also check your Vitamin B12, D3, and inner ear function (ENT assessment if needed). In homeopathy, individualized treatment helps regulate thyroid function, reduce medication dependency, and improve balance and vitality. Please don’t ignore these symptoms — with proper support, they can be managed effectively. Let me know if you’d like a short version for social media, or homeopathic remedy suggestions like Calcarea Carb, Sepia, or Lycopodium, depending on case totality.

Your question is unclear. Is TSH 7.1 despite taking 125 mcg of Eltroxin or was it 7.1 when you started with treatment. If it's the latter you need to recheck your TSH. If the former than 125mcg seems inadequate.

Your TSH is still high, which means hypothyroidism is not yet under control. The imbalance and motion sickness could also be due to vitamin B12 or D deficiency or inner ear issues. I suggest a proper homeopathic consultation for best results. Also, get your Free T3, T4, B12, and Vitamin D levels tested.

A TSH of 7.1 indicates subclinical or mild hypothyroidism, depending on your full thyroid profile (T3, T4, and antibody levels). You're currently taking Eltroxin 125 mcg, which is a relatively high dose for many individuals unless you have no thyroid gland (post-surgery) or your weight and T4 levels require it. If you're still symptomatic with motion sickness, imbalance, or lightheadedness this could be due to either overdose or underdose, or unrelated issues like vestibular dysfunction or anxiety. These symptoms aren't typical of well-adjusted thyroid therapy and warrant a review.
Next Steps
It’s important to repeat your full thyroid panel (TSH, Free T3, Free T4) and consult your endocrinologist to adjust the dosage accordingly. If your Free T4 is high while TSH remains elevated, the current dose may need fine-tuning. The feeling of imbalance and motion sensitivity may also need to be evaluated with ENT or neurology, especially if it’s frequent. Do not adjust or stop Eltroxin on your own thyroid doses must be titrated gradually under supervision.
Health Tips
Take Eltroxin strictly on an empty stomach, at the same time daily, and avoid taking calcium or iron supplements within 4 hours, as they interfere with absorption. Stay well-hydrated and avoid skipping meals, as that can worsen dizziness. If motion sickness continues, temporary remedies like Tab Cocculus 30 (homeopathic) may help symptomatically, but always after professional consultation.
