Phlegm stucked in throat

Its has been 6 months that i feel.like something phlegm is stucked in my throat..i try to get it out but unfortunately after a lot if trials i always failed.. i dont have cough or cold.. i feel breathlessness sometimes due to this... i hope its not a serious problem..please help me
