I have severe dry cough since 7 days. I went to ENT and she told me to take Augmentin 500mg (3 tablets a day) for 5 days and now the dose is over. My cough is still there. It has reduced little only. Also, i am coughing continously for 4 hours every night.
So should I continue the tablet again? I have taken 15 tablets already. I am 25 years old body weight is 56.

Will have to check your throat once and would also like to know other symptoms and complaints
You can take for 2 more days and complete the course of 1 week . However would also like to know how much relief you had with this. Moreover since you are having dry cough , it could be irritable cough which is triggered by reflux , allergy , post nasal drip as well.

No do not continue antibiotic (augmentin you can stop)
For cough you can take cough syrup but again for that it’s important to know if it’s dry cough or wet cough
You can take tab Montek LC once in the night for 10 days
