About Phalasarpis Capsules:
Phalasarpis is an Ayurvedic formulation widely used to support reproductive health, regulate hormones, and improve uterine function. While it is generally safe, dosage depends on the patientâs condition, constitution (Prakriti), and concurrent medications.
Recommended Dosage for Phalasarpis:
The dosage prescribed to you (5 capsules daily) seems on the higher side. Typically, the standard dosage for Phalasarpis is:
1â2 capsules twice daily (morning and evening), taken after food with warm water or milk.
Why Adjust the Dosage?
As you are already taking CoQ10, DHEA, Omega-3, and multivitamins, high doses of Phalasarpis could lead to digestive discomfort or imbalances.
Ayurvedic formulations are potent, and starting with a lower dose is advisable when combined with other medications.
My Suggestion:
Begin with 1 capsule twice daily for 1 week. Monitor how your body responds.
After 1 week, if you tolerate it well and thereâs no discomfort, you can increase it to 2 capsules twice daily if recommended by your Ayurvedic doctor.
Important Points to Consider:
Consultation with the Prescribing Doctor: Since they know your full case history, confirm the dosage adjustment with them.
Timing with Other Medications:
Take Phalasarpis at least 1 hour apart from your English medicines to avoid interactions.
Dietary Support:
Avoid excessively spicy, oily, or processed foods that aggravate Pitta.
Incorporate warm milk with a pinch of turmeric or saffron for uterine nourishment.
Final Note:
Your IVF treatment is delicate, and itâs crucial to ensure that all medications, including Ayurvedic ones, are synchronized with your treatment plan. If you experience any side effects like nausea, diarrhea, or discomfort, discontinue Phalasarpis and inform your doctor immediately.
Wishing you all the best for your IVF procedure. Feel free to reach out if you need further guidance.
