Persistent Liver and Spleen Issues
Symptoms: 1. Mild pain and fullness in the left upper abdomen (spleen area) even without eating. 2. Occasional yellow stools, burning during defecation, and dark/reddish urine for the past few days. 3. No noticeable weight loss or severe fatigue. Medical History: 1. Enlarged spleen (13.2 cm) usg Dec 2024 2. Persistently elevated bilirubin (direct and indirect) for over a month. 3. Low platelets (120 thou/mm³) with giant platelets Current Medications (stopped 3 days ago): Reheptin DS, Pantoprazole, Probiotic. Concerns: 1. Persistent dark urine burnimg—could this be linked to bilirubin or a urinary issue? 2. Mild discomfort and fullness due to splenomegaly—how serious is this if platelets continue to drop? KFT report last month was good. I consulted hematologist he did cbc & peripheral tests last month & ruled out any issues.

Hi.. mild pain in the left hypochondrium is not necessarily coz of splenomegaly.. it’s usually asymptomatic.. your platelet count is ok as you have large platelets so this should not bother u..and regarding your LFT please get it repeated after one week.. and urine test also..
