Persistent fever for more than 18 days
Hi my mother is suffering from fever which range from 99.7 to 100.2 f for 18 days. Initially it gone to 103.3f and it was suggested because of urine infection. But after 10days her urine result came negative. But fever went to 100.2 f. Her typhoid, dengue, malaria test are negative. She is currently on monocef 2gm for last 3 days but situation remains the same. My mother had nephrectomy done in 2014 as she had tumour in kidney. The symptoms at time was similar. So I'm worried that why is her body temp not going back to normal. So can anyone give any solution or advice.
