Period or anovulatory breakthrough bleed
Good morning doctors. My history: Hypothyroid patient since 15 years Diagnosed with PCOD last month Not sexually active The abdominal USG done 2 days after my ovulation showed no dominant follicle but many small GF on both normal sized ovaries ( no sign of ovulation) I got my period yesterday (one day late), which started as blood mixed discharge turned brownish and then  bright red flow. But the flow is very little, just like spotting and didnt even fill one pad completely. Today is the second day, and the flow hasn't increased. Is this my period? Or is it breakthrow bleeding due to anovulatory cycle? Please guide me what to do if it is a cause of concern.

This is your period. Many ppl experience change in pattern due to hormonal imbalances.
