Perforated eardrum, pressure in ear.
Happened a week ago. The draining of fluid stopped about two nights ago, and there's no pain anymore. But the ear feels clogged, as if there's unequal pressure (just like when on a flight) and I feel as though the ear is about to pop. I'd like to know what I should expect during my recovery. Is this normal, or is there something I should be worried about? What's the recovery process supposed to be like? Will my hearing get better with time, or will it just pop when the eardrum is healed?

The pop sound is the eustachian tube opening. It is a tube which balances the ear pressure. If u still feel comfortable please should it to ENT SPECIALIST
