This does not look like permanent damage. Mild irritation, friction changes and foreskin retraction issues are common and usually manageable with proper care and treatment. Please don’t panic or keep overthinking it. Consult with a Urologist

The discomfort and marks you are describing are most likely due to Chronic Irritative Dermatitis caused by physical friction and the accumulation of sweat and moisture in the genital area. When genital hair frequently sticks to the sensitive skin of the glans or shaft, it can cause micro-abrasions that lead to visible marks and persistent irritation. Additionally, if the foreskin is not covering the glans properly, the exposed skin can become dry and more susceptible to irritation from clothing. At 29, this is a very manageable issue once we address the physical triggers and restore the skin's protective barrier."
Next Steps
Do connect and consult with me.. To determine if the 'marks' require a specific medicated ointment or if the foreskin issue is related to a mild case of Phimosis, please book a full consultation session via my Practo profile."
Health Tips
Clothing Choice: "Switch to loose-fitting, 100% cotton boxers. Synthetic fabrics and tight underwear trap heat and moisture, which softens the skin (maceration) and makes it much more prone to marks and irritation." The 'No-Scrub' Rule: "Do not attempt to 'scrub' or rub the marks away during bathing. The skin in this region is the thinnest on the body; aggressive cleaning will cause painful fissures and may lead to a secondary bacterial infection." Caution: "Do not use over-the-counter 'fairness' creams or strong steroid creams on these marks. These can cause permanent thinning of the genital skin and lead to increased sensitivity or chronic pain." Red Flags: "Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any open sores, yellow discharge, a foul odor, or if you develop significant swelling and redness that makes it difficult to retract the foreskin."

Hi., I can understand your concern. It can be due to phimosis caused by fungal infection. Need to start medicine, if issue persists, plan for circumcision.
