On this pelvis with both hip joints X-ray, there is no obvious fracture, dislocation, or severe hip joint disease visible, and both hip joints appear reasonably symmetrical. A true leg-length difference usually cannot be accurately diagnosed from a single pelvis X-ray taken without proper positioning markers; it often looks “short” due to pelvic tilt, muscle imbalance, or posture rather than actual bone shortening. To confirm whether the leg is truly shorter, a scanogram / leg-length X-ray (hip–knee–ankle) or clinical measurement is needed. If the difference is mild, it is commonly managed with shoe raise, posture correction, and strengthening, not surgery. If you have back pain, limping, or worsening asymmetry, further evaluation is advised.
