PCOS causes me to have hair on my chin, chest and stomach. Can I just shave these areas? Is it safe and will hair grow back thicker or darker?

Hi. Shaving doesn't have any effect on hair thickness or color. It's all genetically defined with effects of hormones.

Definitely u can...it doesn't Affect the Thickness or Rate of Hair Growth. Despite common belief, shaving your hair does not make it grow back thicker or at a faster rate. In fact, this misconception was debunked by clinical studies in 1928. Still, the myth lives on, even almost 100 years later.....
