Pcos and thyroid problem
I faced heavy bleeding from last two months during periods. The result of blood test says tsh is elevated to 7.2 , One of my doctor friends suggested to take thyroxine sodium tablets. I want to ask should I take hotmonal treatment also to correct my next menstruation cycles. Or it would be corrected automatically by thyroid treatment. Because I don't want to suffer from side effects of hormonal treatments like weight gain n etc. as it might affect my thyroid. Please suggest the right way???

Most likely it will be corrected once you start taking your thyroid medications. However i need to know further details and see investigation reports to be able to precisely tell you whats the exact issue.
