Pcos And periods
I was diagonised With multi cystic ovarian syndrome nearly 1.5 yrs back. I recently got married and I am taking regestrone Sandoz 5mg (day 15 to day 25 of my cycle)and metaformin. For the past 4 months my periods last only for 1 day normal flow. Previously it was 3 days. I am worried as I will be planning for pregnancy in 3months. Please help

The usual reason for decrease in flow in pts with PCOS is putting on extra weight. Have you put on weight after marriage? Also check for Thyroid and Prolactin levels.

Since you would be planning for pregnancy see to it that you have a healthy BMI. A healthy BMI will not only help you to conceive spontaneously but also avoid complications during pregnancy
