I dislocated my knee at least four times and the pain goes away a couple of days. Then months would go by and i would dislocate it with a sudden turn of my leg and push it back into place myself. I am in sports and I need to go back. Would I be able to play sports tomorrow? I already am scheduled for an MRI. Can i play sports before the volleyball season is over?

Recurrent patellar dislocation needs to be examined and thoroughly investigated to find the causes of dislocation. It may be due to mpfl tear, lateralized tibial tuberosity or due to flat trochlear notch. Depending on the problem you would be guided appropriate treatment

Dear Sir, your knee seems to be quite unstable, better not to play, as sports and high demand activities will affect your knee in a bad way.
So get MRI and clinical examinations and treated before u return to sports with advice of your doctor
