He was diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephalitis (Anti Amphyphysin antibody - Positive, Anti GAD 65 antibody - weak positive, Anti TPO antibody - Positive) 2 years back.
His symptoms are partial seizures only. No other symptoms.
2 years back they did a PET CT which showed ground glass opacity but they mentioned that it could be due to some infection. Today after 2 years, we re-did a HRCT and it still shows ground glass appearance in posterior segment of right upper lobe. Both the times he did not have any chest infection nor covid.
Should we be concerned about this Ground Glass appearance? Quite concerned cause his positive antibodies are associated with lung cancer.
Attaching the old PET report and the latest HRCT report.
