Past incidents kills me
I m 55 yrs old and my early school days and later college days didn't had good moments to cherish or remember. .during school days, I was so ignorant and fellow classmates made fun out of me often and body shaming also been done which all i still remember now and kills my mental peace. Often I was ill treated by class students for no reason and I was not having good friends to move with and my parents also wasn't strict enough to make me disciplined and good in studies. I was a below average student but I was having so wavering mind and due to that, not focused on studies properly. I was not tutored properly at home as well I was beaten by class teachers at school quite a few times and i failed in class 7th, 9th and again in 10th but i never give up and passed 10th after few attempts and then wrote 12th STD privately and cleared exams again after few attempts. I don't have any ambition after I passed out school and joined college with avbl stream and cleared exams after few attempts

Hello What you have shared reflects years of emotional hurt, rejection, and lack of support during a very sensitive phase of life. Being mocked, body-shamed, punished, and made to feel inadequate in school can deeply affect self-worth and confidence, even decades later. These experiences often get stored in the mind as unresolved emotional memories, which resurface as self-doubt, regret, and mental restlessness. Despite these hardships, your repeated efforts to clear exams show strong resilience and inner strength. The fact that you did not give up, even after failures and discouragement, speaks of a survivor’s mindset that deserves recognition. However, when such painful memories are not emotionally processed, they continue to disturb peace and create a sense of “missed life” or stagnation. Therapy can help you heal these old wounds, reframe your self-image, and reconnect with your sense of purpose and self-respect. You deserve to experience emotional relief, confidence, and self-acceptance at this stage of life. With the right support, it is possible to release past burdens and move forward with clarity and emotional balance. Take therapy. You can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.

I’m really sorry you went through this. What you describe sounds like long-standing emotional trauma from bullying, humiliation, and corporal punishment, which can resurface even decades later as intrusive memories, low self-worth, and mental distress. This is not a personal failure—it’s the mind holding unresolved pain. With trauma-focused therapy (like CBT/EMDR) and, if needed, medication for anxiety or depression, these memories can lose their emotional grip. Healing is absolutely possible at any age. Seeking help now is a strength, not a weakness.
