Consult with a doctor
Online now
Hello, you are asking how to self medicate. Is there any good doctor who can encourage you to self medicate? It is not about consulting them personally - you can consult any homoeopathy doctor for the same but Self medication is strictly NO regardless of Homoeopathy/allopathy/ayurveda. It can have serious issues long term. So yes any doctor would say this & this is the proper answer. To know more & for any other concern you can call us or reach us online.

Not advised to use passiflora for long time .Infact any medicine should not be used for longer time unless and until it is very important.Passiflora is for sleep and calming effect .Treat the root cause and slowly stop passiflora. You can still use it more than 6 months but in such cases stay in touch with doctors.

Hi, this is a very valid concern—good that you asked before continuing long-term use. Passiflora (Passiflora incarnata) is commonly used for anxiety, sleep disturbances, and nervous irritability. In general, it is considered safe when used in appropriate doses, and serious side effects are quite rare. Regarding your question about heart arrhythmias: There is no strong clinical evidence showing that Passiflora causes heart rhythm disturbances when used in standard homeopathic or herbal doses. Most reported side effects are mild, like: Drowsiness Dizziness Occasionally mild gastric discomfort However, a few important points for long-term use (like 6 months): Continuous use without understanding the root cause of anxiety or sleep issues is not ideal If you already have heart disease, are on cardiac medicines, or taking sedatives/antidepressants, caution is needed Overuse or self-medication in higher-than-needed doses (especially herbal mother tinctures) may lead to excessive sedation or unwanted effects Practical advice: If you are taking it in low potency homeopathic form, it is generally safe If you are using mother tincture (Q) regularly for months, it’s better to reassess the need If symptoms persist for so long, it means the underlying cause needs a more individualized approach, not just one remedy continuously So, in short: No strong evidence that Passiflora causes arrhythmia in normal use But long-term continuous use without review is not advisable If you share your exact symptoms (sleep pattern, stress triggers, physical symptoms), I can guide you more precisely on whether Passiflora is the right remedy for you or if a better approach is needed. You need to consult a nearby homoeopath and then they will guide you forthe same … also if the remedy is correct there are no aggravating factors like any other symptom which it is producing.. so I think the remedy which you are taking is wrong and is leading to few other problems!

Passiflora is quite commonly used for anxiety and sleep issues, and in routine practice it is generally safe when taken in proper doses. About your concern  there isn’t any strong or reliable evidence that Passiflora causes heart rhythm problems with long term use in otherwise healthy people. Sometimes such information circulates online, but it’s not something we typically see clinically. That said a few practical points • Don’t take it in unnecessarily high doses • If you already have any heart rhythm issue, then better to be cautious • If you notice symptoms like palpitations or unusual discomfort, stop it Using it for a few months (like 6 months) is usually not a problem, but it’s better to take it based on need rather than continuously without reassessment. Also, try to avoid self medication. Even though it’s relatively safe, it’s always better to take it under guidance of a doctor so the dose and duration are appropriate for you.

Proper answer in your case would be, Don't do self medications. In homoeopathy there are no specific medicine for a specific problem, the medicines are evaluated after proper case taking. And if you don't want to consult here you can go to the Homoeopathic physician nearby. But don't take medicines on your own.
