Partial ankle ligament tear
It's been a month since my partial ankle ligament tear. The swelling has reduced but it's not fully gone. The medicines given by the dr. are over. I apply a spray and wear an anklet. However the swelling is still there and not reducing. Please advice.

After a partial ankle ligament tear, mild swelling can persist for 4 to 6 weeks as the ligament healing process continues.
Next Steps
Continue ankle support and Start physiotherapy. Also do Ice fomentation for 15 minutes,3 times daily to reduce swelling.Gradual weight bearing with comfortable sports shoes.
Health Tips
Avoid running, jumping, or uneven surfaces until pain and swelling completely settle. If swelling or pain persists beyond 8 weeks, you may require repeat clinical evaluation or MRI to rule out associated ligament or cartilage injury.
