Hello,
No Paro 10 has paroxetine which is a antidepressant and 10mg is a very low dose. Lithium which is a mood stabilizer can cause diabetes insipidus and as a reason while prescribing lithium blood test are continuously monitored to look for any side effects. Have regular follow ups with your doctor to keep a check on symptoms and side effects as well.
If Paro is paroxetine it's antidepressant anxiety disorder is different than bipolor disorder. Gen paroxetine safer drug only but 10mg is underdose. Don't worry use drugs undersupervision....then u may get proper improvement...
For me it appears u r anxious about side-effects of drugs, it stopped u using proper prescribed dose
Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. Medicine are just one part of any psychic treatments like depression and sometimes they cause side effects due to long-term usage and body conditions. So, it's better to adopt certain non medicine treatment in parallel to support your treatment. If you noticed, the actual root cause behind your depression or anxiety is your anxious or worrying thoughts. However the medicine can't control or manage such thoughts. By adopt certain mindset change techniques or psychotherapies, dietary changes, certain lifestyle routines, excersise routines and regular counseling guidance etc can improve your treatment and avoid or reduce the impact of such side effects.
Be positive. You will be alright soon. Feel free reach me online or call for further evaluation and recommendation of suitable therapy and counseling support.
Hello, paro and lithium are two different compounds.
Paro doesn't have the side as lithium has and it considered quite safer. As you mentioned you are taking this medication for 4 years now, i would like to suggest you to.l consult your doctor or take second opinion from another psychiatrist whether you really need to continue this medicine now. All the best
