As you said you suffer from anxiety, Withdrawing paroxetine altogether would not solve the problem as anxiety will still remain. Although Paroxetine doesn't usually cause high BP, if you observe the same you may be switched to a different SSRI. You may consult me at eight eight seven two seven triple one seven three for the same.
Health Tips
don't stop paroxetine immediately as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms
Hi
Pharmacologically paroxetine doesnt affect blood pressure
But for some serotonin withdrawal can happen with withdrawing paroxetine
Ideally
Can taper paroxetine to half and then stop which will help in this sudden rise in blood pressure
Next Steps
Slowly reduce the dose to half the tablet for a week and then stop

Your blood pressure changes may be related to anxiety fluctuations or stopping Paroxetine abruptly, which can cause withdrawal symptoms and rebound anxiety. It’s important not to stop or restart this medication on your own. Please consult a psychiatrist for proper dose adjustment or tapering, and to manage both anxiety and blood pressure safely.
