My father is 57 yrs old. He underwent rigid cystoscopy and Turbt 1 month ago.Doctors found 2 tumours.1 papillary pedunculated tumour 1cm away from left UO and another small 0.5cm papillary lesion right side proximal to right. They gave immediate mitomycin 40.biopsy report shows it's a TaG2 low grade papillary urothelium carcinoma.now he is having mitomycin 40 weekly for 6weeks and then doctors advised for cystoscopic surveillance.3 instillation done.Till now he's doing fine. Not much issues.my question is why the doctors choose mmc 40 over bcg?and what about his prognosis? Is there any chance for his bladder removal?please let me know please..
