Dear Sir
Thank you for your query.
Zapiz us usually given for a short term for anxiety disorder like panic and it is not the primary medication that is used. Treatment of panic disorder conducts of antidepressant medications and psychological therapy. Please see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and further treatment. Long term use of zapiz can lead to dependence on the medicine. It is not known to affect a sperm count and can be taken by male patients while planning a baby.
However, please see a psychiatrist for a detailed evaluation and proper treatment.
Thanks
Regards
Dr Ankita Mishra
Panic disorder needs to be treated with other medicines as well. medicins like zapiz are only for temporary relief & not a long term solution. Also, zapiz doesnt have any effect on sperm/baby if father is taking them.
